VISION FOR NORTHWOODS ADVENTURE

The vision for the trip is to create a unique, retreat-like summer experience for our high school students to focus their attention on Christ through interactive, engaging sessions and activities in the beauty of God's creation.

Students' minds and hearts often wander with thoughts and concerns: what their future will look like, whether they can find fulfilling relationships, and how they can know God will be there. This year, students will explore Psalm 23 together to see God and His Provision, Protection, and His Presence with His People.

COST // $100

To keep costs low, we are staying at my parents lake cabin FOR FREE. To keep costs even lower, we plan to only eat out on the drive up and the drive back. For these meals, we will give your child per diem for the travel days. We'll prepare the rest of the meals in the cabin or at the sites we visit. See a breakdown of the costs in the schedule. (Students will shower and use the bathrooms at a campground next to the Voeltner property. This will be $15 per student, already included in the total cost of the trip) This event is already a fantastic value. However, if you need help, we don't want cost to keep anyone from going. Let us know.

Summer Fun Day

August 2nd, 2017

Our Theme: "Galactic Starveyors!"

As kids focus their telescopes on the marvels painted in the sky by the Creator, they will discover the wonder among all wonders - that the God who created everything there is - the knowable and the unknowable, the visible and the invisible - wants a personal relationship with them! Invite your kids into the clubhouse and show them the God who is over the moon in love with them.

"He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation. For by him all things were created, in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities—all things were created through him and for him." Colossians 1:15-16
